Google Play App Testers Needed

A quick update

I previously had apps published on the Google Play Store, but after a long period of inactivity my original developer account was deactivated and cannot be reinstated.

To publish my app under my new developer account, Google now requires a short closed testing phase.

What’s required?

• 12 testers

• 14 consecutive days

• App installed and lightly opened during that time

That’s it.

About the app

The app is extremely simple — it opens my personal website.

It requires zero permissions:

• No location access

• No contacts

• No camera

• No payment access

Despite its simplicity, Google still requires the full testing process before public release.
