Sometimes the best memories come from the trips you never planned to take. What started as an unexpected trip to Foxborough to watch the Raiders take on the New England Patriots turned into another unforgettable experience for Colin and me. The final score wasn't what we hoped for, but what happened off the field more than made up for it.

AN UNEXPECTED TRIP TO FOXBOROUGH

We weren't originally planning on attending this game. But sometimes an opportunity comes along, and you just have to go for it.

Before we knew it, we were heading to Massachusetts with Row 1 tickets to watch our Raiders take on the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

We've been fortunate enough to experience several Raiders games from the front row, and it never gets old.

Being that close to the field gives Colin an opportunity to see the players up close, watch the pregame activity, and hopefully interact with some of his favorite Raiders.

Little did we know just how memorable this particular trip would become.

THE GAME DIDN'T GO OUR WAY

The Raiders had a rough afternoon in Foxborough. After tying the game 7-7 on a touchdown pass to Brock Bowers, things started slipping away.

New England took control, eventually handing Las Vegas a 45-17 loss.

It certainly wasn't the result we traveled to see, but our day wasn't over yet.

TWO AUTOGRAPHS, ONE UNFORGETTABLE DAY. (MAXX CROSBY AND ASHTON JEANTY)

This is where the day went from disappointing to absolutely incredible.

Colin managed to get two of the biggest names on the Raiders to autograph his jersey: Maxx Crosby and Ashton Jeanty.

Getting either one would have made the trip worthwhile. Getting both signatures on the same jersey was something special.

Even better, we have video footage of Jeanty taking Colin's jersey to sign it. It's one of those moments we'll be talking about for years.

A JERSEY WORTH FRAMING

Getting an autograph from either Maxx Crosby or Ashton Jeanty would have made the trip worthwhile. But Colin managed to get both players to sign the same Raiders jersey, turning an already memorable day into something truly special.

That jersey has officially been retired from game-day duty. This one's getting framed!

MORE THAN JUST A FOOTBALL GAME

The Raiders lost, and the drive to Massachusetts certainly wasn't a short one. But when I think back on this trip, the scoreboard won't be the first thing that comes to mind.

I'll remember being there with Colin, sitting in the front row, and watching him get the kind of player interactions that most fans only dream about.

We didn't even plan on going to this game, and somehow it turned into one of our most memorable Raiders experiences yet.
